Furnitures and garden stuff

Greenwood work is quite a broad term. That trade uses froes, axes, knives, draw knives, augers, usually a shavehorse and a break. Anything from light furniture (chairs, tables...), gate hurdles to small sheds, generally from wood that has just been cut, that doesn't necessary involve killing the tree.

It's an interesting field, with a good imagination, the simplicity of the joints and the accessibility to cheap and abundant resources, you can do pretty much all your garden furniture, sheds, even interior.

Gate hurdles, sweet chestnut

Little comparison with the first and later stool I've had the patience to do recently.

Small stuff for my daughters :)

Sweet chestnut, unfinished bench from Marc Sidders. If you want one, he takes orders, if he doesn't, I will :)
