Old And Gnarly window

England is Full of these old bay windows. Really old. Often patched with wood filler or modern fast grown wood. That one received slightly more attention. Near to Sevenoak, Kent. 

Oak and dust. Apparently 1583. Isn't that fantastic ? Most of those thinly carved pieces of wood survived English weather for 450 years ?

First, chaos and confusion...

Tools collection ranged from modling planes and gouges, scrapers to chainsaw, circular saw and chain mortiser. Repair specifications were coming from Peter Massey. Silkaflex and stainless fixings.
